· 4 to 6 years experience in software development. · Concepts, methods, techniques : C#, .NET, Oracle RDBMS, Windows 2003 server. · Developing web applications, Knowledge of HRM and / or payroll processes, Knowledge of data driven administrative applications. · Design, execute and document the transformation from functional to technical design (database, processes, user interface). · Software development (database, processes, user interface) Testing. · Version management of object libraries (technical design, objects, classes, class trees). · Maintain up-to-date documentation of the produced software Support. · 3rd line support for production.
· 3-5 years IT operation with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices. · Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support the system. · Work to ensure that the associated hardware resources allocated to the databases and to ensure high resilience and performance tuning. · To proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime (both SQL Server and Oracle interface). · Responsible for providing trend analysis to management team to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management. · Responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving of SQL development. · Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades. · Responsible for implementation and release of database changes according to agreed timescales and costs.
· 2 - 4 years work experience in Java/J2EE, EJB, Servlets, JSP. · Experience with Java 5. · Experience with atleast one web application development framework like Struts or JSF. · Strong understanding of web technologies like AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, XML. · Experience in database access technologies like JDBC. · Experience in OR-Mapping tools like Hibernate. · Knowledge in SQL/PL-SQL. · Experience with Websphere application server a plus. · Experience in webservices a plus. · Ability to document and communicate progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary
